Account Has Been Logged in With A Newer Version Of The Game – FIX

PUBG has released yet another huge update for PUBG mobile to get the fans excited more than ever. The Update version (0.18.0) indeed has a lot to offer to the players with the amazing new features that have been added to the game recently.

PUBG mobile has released this new update patch on May, 7th. The new update requires free storage of about 1.97GB for Android users and 2.27GB for IOS. Although they had mentioned that just like before if you don’t update your game you won’t be able to game with your friends if they have already updated their game.

The biggest update to the game is about the biggest map in the game as well. It is called “Mad Miramar”. This new update about Miramar gives players a totally new experience when playing the map now. We won’t go talk in detail about the changes because that’s another topic but the changes made to the map include, Miramar visual changes updates to look better, Sandstorm effect being added to the map, Miramar main menu theme, Miramar Achievements & events.

Another feature that was added to the game called Account unlinking, has brought players some issues as well. PUBG has announced that they will be disabling the feature in order to fix it as soon as they possibly could.

With the new update, PUBG mobile players are facing a bug that is preventing players from playing the game. As of now, you are already aware of the problem since you have searched for it and eventually ended up reading our article.

The error/warning that PUBG mobile states: “Account has been logged in with a newer version of the game and can no longer log in with an older version. Please update to the newest version”

Here in this article, we will talk about How to Fix Account has been logged in with a newer version of the game. Basically, if you are playing the game with a single account on multiple phones or emulators, you are most likely to face this problem. For those who play the game with two IOs devices they won’t experience the problem but for those who play on an iPhone and an Android device have faced this.

What happens is that when you open your account on an Android device, you will no longer be able to open it back onto your IOS devices. Or you play the game on an emulator and a phone which is IOS, and once you login to your account using the Emulator that runs on Android, you won’t be able to log in again with your iPhone or iPad.

There are many different issues with the release of the new update. Here are a few issues users have registered after the update 0.18.0

With the new update, PUBG has some mismatching Android and IOS build versions where users who have played the game with the latest update installed on their Android phone won’t be able to use the same account if used on an IOS device.

There’s also another issue with downloading some of the in-game downloads where if users updated their game through play store can’t really download those in-game downloads. There is also another issue with the weapon Win 94’s 2.7x scope while a skin was equipped with it.

And, Probably the biggest issue with the new update is that many people have accidentally unlinked their account with the game. Although now the unlinking feature has been disabled but if you still have encountered an issue with the unlinking feature contact the customer service from the in-game settings and choose “I lost my account after unlinking with social media” platforms.

Tencent has confirmed the above mentioned issues with the game and has announced that they will be disabling the unlinking feature until the next update arrives to the game to decrease the number of users unlinking their accounts unknowingly. They also mentioned that they will be working on a fix until the new season 13 Royal pass arrives which is may 13th.

This could mean that the issues with the game could also be fixed with the arrival of the new Royal pass season 13.
